Billy the bulldog is a literal HOT MESS!!!! He got his name because he came with a huge medical bill! haha Billy is a 3 year old bulldog that a breeder threw away when his medical needs became too much to handle. We have had his eye lids fixed & he has been neutered. We are still working to address the huge fold over his nose that needs resection & his bad ear fixed. The rescue will be covering the additional medical care for his current needs.

Billy is the absolute sweetest dog!! He has been in a foster home for just a few short days & we have learned so much about him. He crates like an angel & absolutely loves a soft bed or blanket. He was given a buffalo horn & you would have thought you gave him gold!! He was amazed it was all for him to enjoy. Billy likely lived his whole life in a kennel & was only brought out to "breed" He has likely never had a bone of his very own before. He is good with other dogs but gets super excited & stll thinks its acceptable to hump every dog he meets - its a learning curve after all! So if you have other dogs they must be patient but firm with him. He is also not house trained & we currently have him in a male wrap because he is trying to mark everything.

Billy LOVES to sit in your lap or as close as he can get to you to snuggle! He loves the pets so much when you stop loving on him he will put his paw up on your arm as if to say "that felt good, please do not stop!" 

We are looking for a person with breed experience for Billy as bulldogs are their own kind of special & will come with continued medical care. We will also be looking for someone that has an established relationship with their vet already. Billy is no doubt a bit of a project dog but we would not be making him available for adoption now if he did not have a wonderful temperament to begin with. He is a blank slate - a GEM in the rough just waiting for a little polishing!
